Peel Health Campus Inquiry report has now been tabled

On Thursday 28 March 2013, pursuant to section 24K of the PSM Act, the Inquirer provided a copy of this report to the Public Sector Commissioner. As the Inquiry was held on the direction of the Premier under section 24H(2), the Public Sector Commissioner provided a copy to the Premier.

Following consideration of the report the Premier in Parliament on Wednesday 17 April 2013 tabled the report of the Special Inquirer.
International Women’s Day CEO luncheon

New Premier’s Awards category announced

In December 2012, the Premier endorsed a seventh category for the Premier’s Awards.

The ‘Western Australia in Asia’ category recognises projects that create greater international opportunities for partnerships in Asia and promote Western Australia as a more prosperous and resilient region.

At the request of the Attorney General, the Public Sector Commission has commenced a review of the Commissioner for Children and Young People Act 2006.

Peel Health Campus Inquiry

On Thursday 6 December 2012, the Premier directed the Public Sector Commissioner to arrange for the holding of a special inquiry pursuant to section 24H(2) and (3) of the Public Sector Management Act 1994 to examine all aspects of the delivery of public health services at the Peel Health Campus by Health Solutions Pty Ltd on behalf of the Department for Health.

Premier’s Awards 2012 ceremony

The Premier’s Awards for Excellence in Public Sector Management were presented in a twilight ceremony on Thursday 22 November 2012 in the Premier’s new cabinet rooms.

This year’s field was extremely competitive with 51 applications received.

Congratulations to this year’s winner the Department of Training and Workforce Development for their Joining the dots: Aboriginal workforce development centres.

Six category winners and 12 finialists were presented with their Premier’s Awards certificates. The categories seek to reflect the goals and aims of the Government.
