Developing People

The Public Sector Commission is committed to building the future capacity of the sector by developing effective working relationships with agencies to ensure development programs and initiatives meet their needs. 

A range of career development programs are offered to current and aspiring leaders and new entrants to the public sector including:

• contemporary, world-class leadership programs for current and aspiring leaders, including our flagship ANZSOG, Pathways to Leadership and Public Sector Management programs;

• a Graduate program, aimed at exposing recent graduates to a wide selection of disciplines to lay the foundations for future leadership roles in the public sector and

• an accountability training program for CEOs and boards and committees to promote integrity in the public sector, and support for agencies seeking to roll - out the program to staff.

We also work in collaboration with agencies to build capacity in specific skills and knowledge and actively seek to share best practice across the sector.
